The dark chocolate treat you need in your life this Christmas
When it comes to the holidays, I like to keep things simple. Dark chocolate covered cuties are one of my favorite recipes because they're healthy, delicious and easy to make — basically all it takes is a microwave and 30 minutes!
This works great as a dessert, snack or even a last-minute present (not that any of us would procrastinate, but juuust in case, I gotcha).
Dark Chocolate Covered Cuties with Sea Salt
Ingredients:
10 cuties
1/2 bag of dark chocolate chips
sea salt to taste
1 T coconut oil (optional)
Directions:
Peel cuties and separate into slices.
Place dark chocolate (with optional coconut oil) in a bowl and microwave until melted, stopping and stirring every 30 seconds to prevent burning.
Dip cutie slices in chocolate and place on a baking tray lined with wax or parchment paper.
Sprinkle with sea salt.
Refrigerate or freeze for about 15 minutes or until chocolate hardens.
Enjoy!
